In 2011, CA Mastan Singh Chambyal established his practice under the name M/s M S Chambyal and Associates. Over the past thirteen years, he has built a reputable career, delivering expert lectures on various fiscal and commercial laws to ICAI members and students. His expertise has been recognized by numerous universities and colleges across Chandigarh, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu & Kashmir, where he has been invited as an expert faculty to discuss finance, taxation, and GST. CA Chambyal has served as a regular faculty member, providing training to officers of the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) in Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh, as well as to Accounts Officers of Municipal Corporations (Government of Haryana) and the Chandigarh Administration. He has also been a prominent faculty member for ICAI seminars and events. In addition to his teaching engagements, CA Chambyal has held significant positions within ICAI. He was the Chairman of the Chandigarh Branch of NIRC of ICAI for the FY 2018-19 and has been nominated as a co-opted member in various committees at the apex level body of ICAI Delhi, contributing to several policy-making agendas. These committees include the Committee for Public Accounts and Accounting for Local Bodies (FY 2019-20), Committee for Members in Practice (FY 2020-21), Committee for Public Relations (FY 2023-24), and currently, he is a coopted member of the GST & Indirect Tax Committee (FY 2024-25). His contributions extend beyond ICAI. He was appointed as a Chartered Accountant member of the Himachal State-level GST Grievance Redressal Committees for the period 2019-22. CA Chambyal has continuously delivered lectures on GST to ICAI members, traders, and businesses across Punjab, Chandigarh, and Himachal Pradesh. He has also authored several books on Management Accounting, Commercial Laws, Company Laws, and Entrepreneurship for undergraduate students of Panjab University.
