Throughout her life, she has been a beacon of support and motivation, particularly for women, encouraging them to pursue education and actively participate in social initiatives.

In the face of the challenging times brought by the Covid-19 pandemic, Salochana Devi rose to the occasion and took it upon herself to make a positive difference. Recognizing the urgent need for sanitary items to combat the spread of the virus, she embarked on a mission to distribute essential supplies such as masks, sanitizers, hand gloves, and oximeters to the people in more than 15 villages. Her dedication and selflessness brought relief and protection to numerous individuals during these trying times.

Not only has Salochana Devi been actively involved in direct relief efforts, but she has also extended her support to like-minded individuals who share her passion for making a positive impact. She joined forces with Preeti Thakur in forming an NGO named Uttan Sankalp Education Limited. Together, they aim to empower and uplift individuals through education, focusing on creating opportunities for the underprivileged and marginalized sections of society.
